Thirty Plants that Pay the Rent

Adriana O’Sullivan presented an interesting lecture to a full house of Norfolk, Millis and other interested gardeners. She selected ten perennials, ten shrubs, and ten trees for their hardiness, drought-tolerance, low-maintenance, and multi season interest.  These plants pay the rent by saving you time, money, and aggravation.  We learned how to make plant combinations that extend the blooming season and create a beautiful garden with multiple seasons of interest.

Adriana is originally from the Netherlands with a degree in Ceramic Arts. She has lived in Sharon since 1982 and is active in many civic beautification projects in her community. Adriana earned a Certificate in Landscape Design from The Landscape Institute of the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University. She travels extensively to see and photograph interesting architecture, public landscapes and botanical gardens.
