On Saturday, June 15th, 2019, we held a ceremony to rededicate the Memorial Rose Garden on the Norfolk Town Hill, and honoring the Past Presidents of the Garden Club of Norfolk. The garden was restored and renovated in 2018 through a Civic Development Grant the GCN received from Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, and a lot of hard work put in by GCN members planning, consulting with rose experts, removing invasives, purchasing plants and supporting structures, and planting everything. A new system of watering that is amenable to roses was deployed by the Town of Norfolk DPW.
It was a lovely day, and the garden looked beautiful!
