This year’s Plant and Bake Sale was a huge success, making a profit of over $5,000 for the club. Monies will be used for educational programs which are free to the public, a donation to camperships at Stony Brook Nature Center and to help beautify our town’s civic gardens. Over 800+ perennials, shrubs, groundcovers and house plants were ready to be sold, plus our sale included “Garden Treasures,” a Bake Sale and Crocheted Creations. Other tables included Zeigler’s Market Garden, Norfolk Resilient, Soiling Testing and Birdhouses.
